This page is intended to inform on the instructions for a Photo History Tour of Atlanta that will be created by US4P students. The purpose of this project is to give students a sense of the history of the city and area they live in. The final product of this project will be the creation of a Mixbook digital photo album. Students will work in the same small groups from their wiki projects. They will select a place to research related to a topic we have been discussing in class. Their Mixbook pages should include the following:
A historical description of what happened at the location including the specific event or place itself as well as the how it fit into the context of its time.
Images of the location as it existed in its time gathered from the web that are properly attributed.
Students will also go to the place itself and take a picture of it as it appears today.
